Short Description: Celia gives us a really descriptive account of giving birth to her son, Emiliano, and the new fears associated with being a mother. And then a few months later she is faced with the unexpected death of her father. She also includes her patented reading log that makes me think I should start turning pages as fast as she does.
Full Description: This zine details almost every contraction, every fear and every complication Celia faced while giving birth. But she feels so grateful and proud to be a mother that the pain seems econdary to the love she shows us for her son. Celia also includes a really honest journal entries she wrote after learning of her father's death. She attempts to examine it all, the good memories and the bad, in order to help her and her family heal from his passing. This is an interesting read and it's good to be carrying this zine!
